The Minnesota Twins starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Kansas City Royals and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Harrell was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured disc and stated that he would not be able to play for 7 months.
